Description
- Design: Typically constructed from durable black plastic (e.g., B-253-2) or high-impact materials, they feature a spring-loaded retaining pin (or “plunger”) on one or both ends.
- Theft-Resistance Mechanism: The spindle cannot be removed by simply pulling it, as the spring-loaded pin locks it into the dispenser mechanism.
- Removal/Installation: A special tool—known as the BobKey (e.g., 822-25)—is required to depress the pin through a small, inconspicuous hole in the holder to unlock the spindle.
